Kaleb Tarczewski attended Stevens High School of Claremont for two years. He then transferred to St.Mark’s High School, in Southborough, Massachusetts. During his senior season he was named Independent School League’s MVP, averaging 20.7 points per game, 10.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots. He had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the “Jordn Classic” game in Charlotte and was part of the USA team in the Hoop Summitt of Portland. Eventually, he played four seasons at Arizona, where he won 110 games, the most ever by an Arizona player. He started 131 games 135,and in his senior season had 9.4 points per game with 9.3 rebounds, 1.4 blocked shots, while converting 63.3% of his field goals and 71.2% of his foul shots. He was included in the All-Pac 12 second team and in the All-Pac 12 defensive team. He was undrafted in 2016 but played the Orlando summer league with the Washington Wizards and the Las Vegas summer league with the Detroit Pistons. During the month of September he was signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder, spending with them the entire preseason. fter being released, he joined the D-League’s Oklahoma City Blue. He played 25.5 minutes per game, scoring 10.0 points. He converted 63.3% of his shots and 72.7% of his free throws. He averaged 7.3 rebounds per game.
At Arizona, he played with many NBA players including TJ McConnell, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Aaron Gordon and Stanley Johnson. He was also a teammate of Gabe York who started the season in Cremona. His coach was Sean Miller but the assistant coach, specialized in big men instructions was Olimpia former center’s Joseph Blair
