Reyer Venezia grabbed the win at home against Avellino with 78-66 and leads the course of the series 3-2. The winners had both Esteban Batista and Hrvoje Peric scoring 18 points each. Mike Bramos added 11 more for the Venezia side.
The hosts enjoyed a 42-28 advantage at halftime, as Batista led the way with his 14 points. The visitors only managed to score six points in the second quarter, allowing Venezia to seize control.
Avellino tried to bounce back in the second half and even managed to drop the deficit to 10 points after 30 minutes, 60-50. Even when the visiting team reduced to 8 points, Venezia kept its composure.
