Marquez Haynes scored 14 points, Julyan Stone added 13 plus five rebounds as Reyer Venezia beat Trento 73 – 67 to make the 2-1 and reclaim the home-court advantage in the Italian League Finals.
Aaron Craft and Toto Forray dropped 14 poins apiece for Trento that was leading 38 – 30 at halftime but fell apart after the break.
Venezia manage to shut down its opponents forcing them into only 15 points in the third period, responding with 23 to get ahead. They continued playing excellent defense, taking a double-digit lead 60 – 70 with two minutes remaining, an advantage which was more than enough to keep them out of danger.
