Yesterday Jordan Theodore said in an interview that he wants to be the best point guard in Europe. One day later, he made quite the statement performance by leading Olimpia Milano to the Italian SuperCup title and earning MVP honors in the process.
Wιth 29 points, 7 rebounds plus 5 assists by the American player, Milano defeated Reyer Venezia in the Final 82 – 77 and won the trophy for a second consecutive season.
Amath M’ Baye posted a double/double of 14 points and 10 rebounds while Drew Goudelock added 14 points for the Red Shoes. Arturas Gudaitis scored 12 and grabbed 8 rebounds.
For Venezia, Mike Bramos, Michael Jenkins and Dominique Johnson dropped 14 points apiece.
