The game started off with both teams struggling on the offensive side of the court but also having great and packed defenses. The first half ended 31-33 in favor of Milano with Jordan Theodore leading the way for the visitors. In the second half, Milano increased their lead to nine points with a 7-0 run in the third quarter. The home team tried to challenge in the fourth quarter, but Milano’s good control of the game, their tempo and the experience of the team helped them secure this winning result on the road. Some tough shots and clutch free throws down the stretch were crucial for the visitors.
Jordan Theodore led the way for Milano with his 15 points and 6 assists, while Andrew Goudelock finishing with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
The third day of Lega A had some exciting games to watch, but the favorites got the job done. Yesterday, Brescia and Venezia got on the road victories against Treno and Brindisi respectively and both remain undefeated so far in the competition with 3 wins. Earlier today Sassari defeated Reggiana. For Cremona, Darius Johnson Odom was incredible as he scored 37 points in a 92-77 win over Pistoia.
The third round will end tomorrow with the game between Varese and Cantu.
