In a very intense game, Brescia was able to prevail over Virtus on the road 76-74.
The Key: The visiting team was able to bounce back in the last quarter as they took the lead 73-72 with 2 minutes left on the clock and never looked back. Luca Vitali took the responsibility for the visitors as he made two-pointer when the game was on the line.
The visitors had a solid first time as they were leading 45-41 after the first 20 minutes of the action thanks to Dario Hunt who had 13 points in that period.
Virtus used their halftime break more than well as they came into the second half fired up. They had a 10-1 run early in the third quarter as they win that period 20-7.
The Star: Along Luca Vitali who hit the winning shot Dario Hunt had a huge game. He played 36 minutes and he had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Not enough: Pietro Aradori had 15 points for the losing side and Alessandro Gentile had 13.
Brescia is on the top of the Legabasket with a 7-0 record and Virtus fell down to a 3-4.
Earlier in the day, Avellino beat Varese at home 65-51. Pesaro and Torino protected their home court as well against Brindisi and Cremona. Dinamo Sassari was overtaken by Capo d’Orlando at home as they lost 88-81.
