Sidigas Avellino signed American guard Alex Renfroe ahead of the Italian League playoffs, the player’s agent Misko Raznatovic announced.
Renfroe was playing for Galatasaray in Turkey before joining Avellino. He averaged 9.7 points, 5 assists, and 3.1 rebounds in 24 minutes per game in the Turkish BSL League.
Galatasaray didn’t manage to advance in the BSL playoffs for the first time since 2010 and with two games remaining for the completion of the regular season, Renfroe left the “Cimbom” to reinforce Avellino for the postseason.
