Shavon Shields tied his career-high 31 points he notched in the Game 1 loss of the Italian League Finals and this time, Dolomiti Energia Trento got a 77-74 home win against AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan in Game 4 of the series. The best-of-seven series is now tied at 2-2.
It was a fairly balanced game as no team could gain a significant advantage during thirty minutes of play but the last period was more ‘turbulent’. Trento was completely dominating early fourth quarter with a 21-2 run which gave them a double-digit advantage (75-59) and enough space to secure the game. Although Milano answered with a run of their own (16-4), it came too late to change the outcome.
On his way to 31 points, Shields shot 11/13 from the field and also added eight rebounds for a total value of 39. Dustin Hogue helped him with 14 in addition to Dominique Sutton’s 13 points. For Milano, Andrew Goudelock scored 14 in addition to Vladimir Micic’s 13 points.
