Walter De Raffaele signed a five-year contract extension with Reyer Venezia, as the Italian club announced. The long duration of the contract is quite rare in Europe, even if it includes a opt out close after the first three season (3+2).
Coach De Raffaele led Venezia to the Italian championship in 2017 and the FIBA Europe Cup title this season. He has been with the team since 2011 as an assistant and he became the head coach during the summer of 2016.
