Before Manu Ginobili joined the NBA in 2002 to become one of the league’s most unique players plus a four-time champion, he had already emerged as a superstar in Europe with Italian club Virtus Bologna.
Ginobili graced the floors of EuroLeague (which he won with Bologna in 2001, claiming MVP honors in the process) plus the Italian League where he played for four years. With Calabria from 1998 to 2000 and then with Bologna in 2000-2002.
