Curtis Jerrels scored eight out of his game-high 19 points in the fourth period as Olimpia Milano beat Trieste 77 – 73 on the road to improve its Italian League record to 14 – 1.
Trieste was up 62 – 56 early in the fourth period but Milano had a 6-0 run to tie the game. Jerrels, along with Dairis Bertans (14 points), then scored some key 3-pointer to pace their team to win.
Arturas Gudaitis added 11 points plus seven boards for Milano. Justin Knox (14, seven rebounds) and Williams Moseley (14 points, six rebounds) stood out from Trieste that is now 7-8.
