Varese went ahead in double-digits by halftime and kept the distance until the end for an 84-73 home win against Dinamo Sassari on Day 17 of Italian League.
Aleksa Avramovic led the victors with 23 points while Tyler Cain dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards. For Sassari, Justin Carter scored 16 and Stefano Gentile 13 points.
Varese improved to 10-7 while Sassari now holds a 9-8 record. Olimpia Milano is still alone at the top with 15-2 while Torino and Pistoia are at the bottom with 4-13.
