Sasha Vujacic returned to Italy for one more season of basketball after signing with Verona in order to compete in the second division.
The 34 years old Slovenian is also a two-time NBA Champion with the Los Angeles Lakers. Vujacic was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2004 NBA draft with the 27th overall pick.
Last season Vujacic played also for Turin in the top division of Italy, the country in which he made his first steps as a pro back in 2001 with Snaidero Udine.
After returning to Europe in 2011 for Anadolu Efes and the EuroLeague, Vujacic was called back twice in the NBA by the Clippers and the Knicks.
