Zoran Dragic put on a game-winning performance and kept Trieste alive in the Italian playoffs after a 91-86 home win over Cremona which now leads the series 2-1.
Dragic shot 6-10 from deep on his way to 26 points while Daniele Cavaliero added 16. For Cremona, Andrew Crawford banked 26 points in addition to Mangok Mathian’ 14.
Trento and Venezia also played their third game tonight as the hosts recorded a convincing 72-59 win and forced another game in the series cutting the deficit to 2-1.
Devyn Marble and Betinho Gomes scored 17 points each for the victors while Aaron Craft notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. On the other side, MarQuez Haynes scored 15 and Mitchell Watt 14 points.
Both matchups will play their Game 4 on Saturday, May 25 as Trento and Trieste try to tie the series.
