James Nunnally was completely ‘locked in’ as he pushed Olimpia Milano to an 86-80 road win over Sidigas Avellino in the Italian League playoffs. The best-of-five series is now tied at 2-2 and the last game will be played in front of Milano’s crowd.
Nunnally shot 6-10 for two and 4-6 for three on his way to 28 points while also adding three rebounds and three assists. Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Curtis Jerrells added 15 points each.
For Avellino, Demonte Harper nailed game-high 29 points along with six rebounds and four assists while Keifer Sykes scored 14 in addition to Demetris Nichols’ 11 points.
