Dolomiti Energia Trento announced that head coach Maurizio Buscaglia won’t continue with the team in the next season.

Under Buscaglia, Trento had advanced to the EuroCup semifinals in the history of the club in 2015-2016. Buscaglia was named the EuroCup “Coach of the Year” in that season.

Buscaglia had first become the head coach of Trento in 2003. He left the team in 2007 and returned in 2010 to lead the team from Italy’s Third Division to the Second Division and then the top-tier Serie A at the end of 2013-2014.

In 2015, Trento finished fourth in the regular season. Buscaglia won “Italian League Best Coach”.
