The Serbian Basketball Federation announced Wednesday that Mike Malone has confirmed to join the Serbian NT’s staff as a “top aide and consultant” at the upcoming Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade, though the Denver Nuggets coach denied there has been any final deal.
“That’s not accurate”, he told Mike Singer of the Denver Post when asked to comment on the report of the alleged agreement. There have been vague discussions between the two sides, but nothing has been finalized.
