Milos Teodosic will not play in the EuroBasket Qualifiers games of Serbia against Finland and Georgia. The Serbian Basketball Federation didn’t reach an agreement with Virtus Bologna regarding the player’s insurance and thus the player has returned to practices with his club, Bologna Basket reports.
The Serbian national team was expecting to have Teodosic available at least in the match against Georgia in Belgrade. Serbian Federation president Sasha Danilovic had mentioned that there were some problems with the player’s insurance in a press conference held in the country’s capital.
Teodosic missed the 2019 FIBA World Cup due to a knee injury and was expected to make his return to the national team in the EuroBasket Qualifiers openers. Serbia’s captain last represented his country in the World Cup Qualifiers.
