Sergio Scariolo will stay at the helm of the Spanish national team until 2024, the federation announced.
The Toronto Raptors assistant was leading Spain from 2009 to 2012 and returned in 2015 for another stint which has now been extended for four more years.
Scariolo led Spain to gold medals at the 2009, 2011 and 2015 EuroBasket ,while they grabbed bronze in 2017. He also on top of the run to the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Most recently, he took Spain to victory in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
