Jonas Valanciunas stepped up with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, along with 2 steals and 2 assists to pace the Lithuanian selection to a 78-61 victory against Russia, in a preparation game for the upcoming Olympic Qualifiers later in June.
Marius Grigonis added up to Valanciunas’ efforts with 14 points, Domantas Sabonis had 12 points and 8 rebounds and Mindaugas Kuzminskas added 10 for Lithuania.

On the other end of the court, Anton Astapkovich had 13 points for the Russian selection, while Anton Kardanakhishvili and Mikhail Kulagin both posted 8 points.
Lithuania next faces the Dominican Republic on Thursday, to complete its preparation period.
