Sacramento Kings center Alex Len will play for the Ukrainian national team in the upcoming games for the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers, apart from participating in the EuroBasket.
As the Ukrainian Basketball Federation announced, Len will be joining the rest of the group, together with wing Bogdan Bliznyuk and forward/center Volodymyr Gerun who missed the previous window due to family and injury reasons respectively. Toronto Raptors swingman Svi Mykhailiuk is also expected to be part of the squad.
The training camp will begin Thursday (28/6) and Ukraine will face Italy (24/8 in Riga, Latvia) and Iceland (27/8 in Reykjavík).
