The Czech Republic is a battle-tested solid team and that was proven once more in the easy 93-60 win against Bulgaria.
Patrik Auda came off the bench and was the top scorer for the winning side with 16 points, Ondrej Balvín and Vít Krejcí added 10 points each, while the star-duo of Jan Vesely (7 p. 2 r.) and Tomas Satoransky (4 p. 7 as.).
Bulgaria was without Alexander Vezenkov, Yordan Minchev, Konstantin Kostadinov, and naturalized point guard Dee Bost, and Pavlin Ivanov did not participate either.
The Czech Republic is hosting Eurobasket Group D in Prague which includes Israel, Poland, Serbia, the Netherlands, and Finland.
Bulgaria is part of Group A which also includes hosts Georgia, Montenegro, Spain, Turkey, and Belgium.
