Tai Odiase will represent the Puerto Rican national basketball team as a naturalized player, confirmed by the Puerto Rican Basketball Association.
After a strong season with Prometey, Odiase signed with Bahcesehir this summer.
“The naturalization of Tai simply elevates the competitive level of our National Team,” said General Manager Carlos Arroyo.
Odiase added, “It means a lot to represent Puerto Rico and its passionate fans. I’ll do whatever it takes to help continue the team’s great run.”
