Dirk Nowitzki has confirmed that he won’t wear the jersey of the national team of Germany again.
Few days after it became official that Germany will not play in the Pre – Olympic qualifying games, the legendary player made his decision known to the public. It was expected, more or less.
“My last game in the Eurobasket 2015, was also my last game with Germany” said the 37 year old superastar of the Dallas Mavericks, in an interview for the German Bild.
This match, that will probably be now remembered like “Nowitzki’s last show with Germany” took place in 10 of September in Berlin, when Germany was defeated by Spain 77 – 76, thus being eliminated from the rest of the tournament.
