Croatia announced its pre-selection for the upcoming pre-Olympic tournament and it includes all the country’s stars except Ante Tomic of Barcelona.
Mario Hezonja, Bojan Bogdanovic, Dario Saric, Damien Rudez and Dragan Bender among others are ready to help the team. The question of course is if Croatia, which is already banned from Eurobasket 2017, will also be excluded from the pre-Olympic tournament, due to the Euroleague – FIBA debate.
From those 25 players, the maximum each country can put in the initial list, 12 will be picked in the final team, which will be coached by the brother of the late Drazen Petrovic, Aleksander.
