According to Mundo Deportivo, FIBA has decided to disqualify the Spanish national team from the Olympic Games in Rio!
FIBA is determined to suspend Spain, unless ACB backs down from its agreement with Euroleague Basketball.
This decision was taken by the executive committee of FIBA in the meeting that took place today in Geneva. While it does not mean a definite disqualification for the Eurobasket 2015 champions from the upcoming Olympic Games, for now it serves as a warning, of sorts, not only for Spain but for other national teams, as well.
