Nigeria announced its national team pre-selection for the upcoming Rio Olympics, which includes among others Festus Ezeli of the Warriors, Ekpe Udoh of Fenerbahce, Al Farouq Aminu from the Blazers, Shane Lawal of Barcelona and also Thanasis Antetokounmpo.
Thanasis hasn’t played yet with any national team, however as Eurohoops has reported since March he is expected to be called also by the Greek national team. Thanasis’ wish is to play alongside his brother, Giannis Antetokounmpo, with the Greek team. The preselections of the Greek team is expected to be announced soon, as the team is preparing for the upcoming pre-Olympic tournament of Turin, Italy.
