After much speculation about whether Kristaps Porzingis would attend the 2017 EuroBasket or not, the decision was made. The New York Knicks player will be joining the Latvian National Team this summer.
Porziņģis played with the Latvian youth team and was selected in the 2013 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship All-Tournament Team.
This is the first time in his career that he will be joining the senior team. The announcement was made from Andrejs Silins on twitter.
