Since January 1st, 2016, Henrik Rodl has already been a full-time trainer at the German Basketball Federation. He was responsible for the national team B and the U20 national team.
In addition, the former national team player (178 games) was also an assistant coach of the national team under Chris Fleming who has to leave his position due to his obligations with the Brooklyn Nets. Rodl was also a member of the German national team which won the Eurobasket in 1993 and now he will lead the team in a new era which includes the four-year cycle until Eurobasket 2021.
