Many players, both from the EuroLeague and the NBA, are really disappointed that they won’t’ be able to play for their national teams in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
A couple of days ago, four players of Unicaja Malaga pointed out the calendar problem and now it was Evan Fournier’s turn to do so.
Τhe French guard spoke to BasketInfos about the new calendar: “FIBA is big shit. They are doing that to make money. That’s all!”.
He also voiced his opinion on the French national team which failed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the recent Eurobasket: “It’s clear that we should have won the first knock out game. However, we don’t have to change many things in the team. The current generation of players has the ability to do something noteworthy”.
