France was able to beat Greece in preparation with 84-68 and now sets sights for the September Qualifiers next week.
Nicolas Batum led the French NT with a double-double performance of 13 points and 12 assists and became the fourth ever player to hand out more than ten assists for the NT after Tony Parker, Boris Diaw and Laurent Sciarra.
For Greece, George Papagiannis stepped up with 13 points (3 rebs), followed by a 12-point performance by Kostas Sloukas (5 ast).
Greece lacked Kostas Papanikolaou in the most crucial part of the game, as he got ejected due to his agitated reaction to a referee call on Konstantinos Mitoglou.
