Boris Diaw has been appointed Deputy General Manager of the French national team, the French Basketball Federation announced.
Diaw, who has been France’s captain for 12 years prior to his retirement this September, will be responsible for relations with the players of “Les Bleus” and their clubs, especially NBA and EuroLeague teams.
“It’s a real honor to have the opportunity to stay with the French national team. I will do my best to bring my experience and put myself at the service of the staff next to Patrick Beesley [French NT GM],” Diaw said per the French Federation.
