Italian forward Danilo Gallinari led the Thunder with 23 points and 11 rebounds in Oklahoma City’s 113-92 home win over the Houston Rockets in Russell Westbrook’s return.
Westbrook scored 34 points, but the Thunder prevailed thanks to Gallinari, while Chris Paul also scored 18 points and German Dennis Schroder added 16.
Philadelphia won without Embiid, beating the Boston Celtics 109-98 as Turk forward Furkan Korkmaz added nine points against a good game by Enes Kanter who had eight points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics. German Daniel Theis had nine points and five rebounds.
Tristan Thompson scored a career-high 35 points with 14 rebounds, and Kevin Love made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 37.9 seconds left in overtime to lift Cleveland to a 115-112 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Turk forward Cedi Osman contributed 11 points for the winners.
Andrew Wiggins scored 23 points, Gorgui Dieng had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Minnesota shut down the Trail Blazers 116-102
