It wasn’t the best of nights for the Dallas Mavericks. Luka Doncic was extremely frustrated during the first half of the home game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. After missing the fourth of five free throws at the American Airlines Center, the Slovenian star tore a chunk out the front of his jersey as he headed back down the court.
“I played very bad. I felt like I don’t know how to play basketball,” he confessed afterwards speaking to gathered journalists in the locker room, “I know I can get better. There’s a lot of things. I’m 20 years old. I’ve got a lot of things that I can do better.”
Eventually finished the game with 8/13 from the charity stripe, but made his way to 25 points behind 8/19 field goals in losing effort. Doncic also posted ten rebounds and seven assists in the 2019-20 NBA Regular Season contest.

A useful reminder can come in play. The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year actually made a larger rip to his jersey last season expressing his frustration with the conclusion of the first half of a contest between the Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
