The Washington Wizards waived forward CJ Miles, and with the free roster spot, they converted the two-way contract of Anzejs Pasecniks to a standard NBA deal, as first reported by Candace Buckner of Washington Post and later on confirmed by the team.
24-year-old big man Pasecniks, a 2017 first-round draft pick, has appeared in 13 games so far in the 2019-20 season with an average of 8.2 points and 6.2 rebounds, and now he is ready to take his talent to the next frontier.
The Wizards are also expected to re-sign Johnathan Williams, who started the season in Israel, on a two-way contract.
