PARIS – French forward Nicolas Batum of the Charlotte Hornets can be considered the host of the NBA Paris Game 2020. However, it was the Greek Freak who stoled the show once more.
After a rough start, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the 116-103 win in Paris over the Hornets. He finished the night with 30 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists, in front of a sold-out arena that made the first-ever Paris game a roaring success.
The Bucks are still leading the NBA with a 40-6 record, and Giannis’ performance was once more proof about the global appeal of the league.
And once more, even in Paris, he got MVP chants.
Malik Monk scored 31 points for the losing side, while Batum had five points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Meanwhile, the NBA has already announced that a regular-season game will be also held in the French capital in 2021.
