Dallas is still missing a big man, after Dwight Powell tore his right Achilles tendon and new addition via trade Willie Cauley-Stein has not arrived yet. However, even with him on board, not much could be done against Rudy Gobert.
The French center dominated with 22 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks, leading the Utah Jazz to a 112-107 victory over the Mavericks. Gobert’s big plays included one of the most crucial blocks of the game.

Croatian sharp shooter Bojan Bogdanovic added 23 for the Jazz, who have won 14 of their last 15 games and climbed to the second spot of the West with a 32-13 record.
On the other side, Slovenian star Luka Doncic scored 25 points for the Mavs, but only two in the final quarter. Latvian Kristaps Porzingis added 15 points and Dallas dropped to the sixth spot of the Western Conference standings with a 28-17 record.
