Luka Doncic underwent an MRI on his right ankle that revealed a sprain. The injury has been described as “manageable sprain,” according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
He got injured during a team practice Thursday (30/1).
The sprain looks similar to the one that Doncic suffered back in December. The Slovenian point forward had to stay out for four games due to the injury.
Doncic, who made the World team roster for the 2020 Rising Stars game today (31/1), averages 28.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.7 assists in his sophomore season in the NBA so far. He’s among the frontrunners in the MVP race and was named an All-Star for the first time in his career.
