Miami Heat are finalizing a trade that would bring in Danilo Gallinari from the Oklahoma City Thunder via a three-team trade, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, while they are also trying to preserve cap space for 2021.
At the same time, Andre Iguodala agreed to a two-year, $30M extension with Heat, but the second year of the deal includes a team option that gives Heat cap flexibility.
Heat’s preference to preserve said cap space could result in Gallinari becoming a free agent this summer.
