The Atlanta Hawks announced that center Clint Capela remains out due to a heel injury (right calcaneus contusion/plantar fasciitis) and his condition will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Capela has begun participating in modified shooting while continuing non-impact conditioning and strength work as part of his rehabilitation, the Hawks also say.
The struggling (15-41, 14th in the Eastern Conference) Hawks acquired Capela earlier this month by the Houston Rockets. The Swiss big man was a part of a four-team, 12-player trade.
Capela averaged 13.9 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 39 games before getting traded.
