Rudy Gobert said that he hasn’t been able to smell anything during the last four days, as a result of being coming down with coronavirus.
“Just to give you guys an update, loss of smell and taste is definitely one of the symptoms, haven’t been able to smell anything for the last 4 days. Anyone experience the same thing?” Gobert tweeted. The Utah Jazz center was the first NBA player to test positive for coronavirus, something that resulted in the league shutting down indefinitely.
Loss of smell and taste may be early signs of coronavirus according to numerous latest reports. Gobert’s test results came back on March 11, before the tipoff of the Oklahoma City Thunder – Utah Jazz game. Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell was later also found positive for coronavirus.
