The Chicago Bulls have started a formal search to hire a new top executive with full authority on basketball decisions, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Interviews will start next week and among the candidates are the Denver Nuggets GM Arturas Karnisovas and Toronto Raptors GM Bobby Webster. The Bulls are planning to talk with several possible candidates and plan to have a new leadership before any potential resumption of the season.
Karnisovas has worked with Denver President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly. The Nuggets‘ draft successes — including Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray – have played a significant part in the franchise’s revival. He has also worked in the Houston Rockets front office and the league office in New York.
