Bogdan Bogdanovic is set to become a restricted free agent, but the Sacramento Kings plan to keep him around, Jason Jones of The Athletic reports.
Re-signing the 27-year-old Serbian swingman will be the top priority, the report notes. The Kings intend to match any offer sheet from another NBA team if Bogdanovic signs one.
Through his third NBA campaign up to the suspension of the 2019-20 season, he averaged 14.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steal per match.
The coronavirus pandemic has raised uncertainty on the offseason proceedings including trades and contracts. In any case, the Kings want to hold on to Bogdanovic.
