Israeli point guard and a potential second-round pick in Yam Madar has entered the 2020 NBA Draft, his agent Alex Saratsis told ESPN.
The 19-year-old 191cm tall guard has been playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv’s youth squads and started his professional career there as well in 2018.
This season, he played 21 games (six starts) averaging eight points, 3.1 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 21 minutes on the floor.
In the 2019 U20 European Championship, Madar led the tournament – which Israel won – in assists with 7.7 per game. He also averaged 15.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals for 19.6 PIR, earning a spot in the All-Tournament Team alongside his teammate Deni Avdija.
