While there’s uncertainty around when and how the 2020 NBA Draft will be held, the prospects around the globe have started declaring their participation.
After Yigitcan Saybir and Sehmus Hazer, two more Turkish youngsters in Berke Atar and Ercan Osmani will declare for the Draft, sources told Eurohoops’ Bugra Uzar. Both have ties with Teksut Bandirma, as does Hazer.
Berke Atar, who grew up within the Bandırma infrastructure, left the team in the middle of this season even though he was a part of the senior squad for three years and signed with MZT Skopje. The 20-year-old pivot averaged 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds.
Ercan Osmani, 21, also comes from Bandirma’s youth system and had a strong season with the team’s B squad, averaging 20.7 points and 11.4 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Czech Republic will also have a representative as Vit Krejci has declared for the Draft, according to Jonathan Givony.
The 19-year-old guard has played 32 games with Casademont Zaragoza this season split between the Spanish League and Basketball Champions League.
