Lithuanian point guard Arnas Velicka has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft per David Hein. The 20-year-old player has been playing with Lithuanian club Prienai, on loan from Zalgiris Kaunas.
Velicka was averaging 12.3 points, 4.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 26.5 minutes over 26 games of the Lithuanian LKL League prior to the cancelation of the championship due to the coronavirus pandemic. He helped Prienai finish sixth in the standings.
From 2015 to 2018, Velicka won numerous medals in summer tournaments with the youth squads of the Lithuanian national team.
