The NBA announced in a press release the 205 young upstarts that are early entry candidates ahead of the 2020 NBA draft. Out of those players, 42 are international early entrants, largely from Europe. The Old Continent holds its fair share of representatives among the 163 NCAA early entrants as well.
Early entrants can still withdraw their names from consideration until mid-June, according to currently set deadlines that may be pushed back. The draft itself was scheduled for June 25, but might postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the uncertainty regarding the conclusion of the 2019-20 NBA season.
