Marco Belinelli enters free agency this summer and his priority is to remain in the NBA, though he doesn’t rule out other options such as returning to Europe, as he mentioned in a recent interview with L’Avvenire, adapted by bolognabasket.com.
“The priority is to stay on an NBA team to try and win another title. But I don’t rule out other options”, said Belinelli.
Apart from his future in the league, the Spurs veteran also commented on the effects of the pandemic and considers that the season is over, even though the NBA tries to work out plans in order to resume the 2019-20 season.
“My feeling is that the season is over. It is very bad, but without a vaccine, I see it hard to get back to action safely. Even if they try to do everything to start again, because I understand the financial impact”, he mentioned. We must keep up, it’s a sad moment, many deaths. I hope we can smile again soon, with the awareness that when it passes, we will appreciate life more”.
