NBA announced that another batch of results of coronavirus testing showed that nine more players are positive.
The first tests, which were done on June 23, showed 16 positives and with the additional nine cases, it totals to 25 out of 351 tested players. It should also be noted that certain players were found positive outside of the regular testing done by the teams and aren’t included in the above-mentioned numbers.
Also, ten out of 884 members of the teams’ staff were found positive as well.
Per NBA:
In tests conducted of 344 NBA players between June 24-29, an additional nine players have tested positive for the coronavirus. Twenty-five of 351 players have tested positive since testing began on June 23.
In tests conducted of 884 team staff between June 23-29, 10 have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Any player, coach or team staff member who tested positive will remain in self-isolation until they satisfy public health protocols for discontinuing isolation and have been cleared by a physician.
