Veteran guard Jamal Crawford has agreed to a deal with the Brooklyn Nets, according to reports by The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Crawford is set to make his return to action in Orlando, after last playing with the Phoenix Suns during the 2018-19 season.
With Nets’ Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Spencer Dinwiddie, Wilson Chandler and Taurean Prince ruled out for the NBA return later in July, Crawford’s contribution could be valuable to the team.
40-year-old Crawford averaged 7.9 points and 3.6 assists in 64 games with the Phoenix Suns in his 2018-19 campaign.
